Part-Time Faculty Vacancies

Henderson Community College is seeking applicants for part-time faculty and instructional specialist positions in the all areas, but especially: English, math, music, nursing, psychology, and welding. Part-Time Faculty and Instructional Specialist Vacancies available:
Henderson Community College is seeking applicants for part-time faculty positions in the following areas: Art, Biology, Chemistry, Communications, Developmental Math and Writing, Early Childhood Education, English, Foreign Language, History, Industrial Maintenance, Computer and Information Technology, Math, Music, Nursing (LPN and RN), Philosophy, Sociology, Technical Math, Welding, and Library Services. Teaching assignments will be in the day and evening at on-campus and off-campus locations in Henderson and Union Counties and on-line.

Applications are also being sought for a part-time instructional specialist in nursing.

Applications are also being sought for a Medicaid Nurse Aide part-time instructor.

Positions in Art, Biology, Chemistry, Communications, Early Childhood Education, English, Foreign Language, History, Introduction to Computers, Math, Music, Philosophy, and Psychology require a Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or a master’s degree that includes at least 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline.

Positions in Developmental Math and Writing and Technical Math require a Bachelor’s degree in the teaching discipline, a related discipline, or education.

Positions in CIT, Industrial Maintenance, and Welding require an associate or Bachelor’s degree and appropriate professional certification and/or industrial experience.

Positions in Nursing require a BSN, an MSN is preferred, and appropriate licensure.

Previous teaching experience is preferred for all faculty positions.

United Community Bank of West Kentucky (UCB) presented the Webster County Kids to College (WCK2C) program with a donation of $25,000 to support WCK2C scholarships to students who meet criteria for the work ethic/scholarship program.
