Pathfinder to the Library I : This text has been written to assist HCC English 101 students in learning how to use an academic library. Emphasis is on indexes, catalogs and electronic databases. Students must demonstrate learned competencies by passing an exam. All grading will be performed by HCC librarians with the results communicated to the respective English instructor.
Pathfinder to the Library II : This text focuses on the evaluation of print, audio-visual, and electronic information. HCC English 102 students will learn how to use appropriate materials for their assignments and papers. Examples of the selection process have been provided along with specific reference sources held by the Hartfield Library.
