The spring of 2000 saw the arrival of a new group in Henderson--Community Theatre. Offered as a Community Education class, the theatre group involved everyone who wanted to be involved, whether through acting, constructing sets, working props, stage managing, or advertising.

All this work culminated in

two performances in the Henderson Fine Arts Center. HCT, now considered to be the resident acting troupe of the Henderson Fine Arts Center, continues to involve HCC students and other members of the community in two productions each year.
