Henderson Community Theatre Presents: Anything Goes!
It’s delightful! It’s delicious! It’s de-lovely!
In the spring of 2005, Henderson set sail with Anything Goes, a romantic comedy set aboard a cruise ship in the 1930’s. Director Chris Tyner, who directed the HAAA show Hello, Dolly two years ago, again captained the cast and crew, this time through choppy waters filled with mistaken identities, gangsters on the lam, a sultry chanteuse and the memorable music of Cole Porter. Presented as a collaboration of Henderson Area Arts Alliance, Henderson Community Chorus, and Henderson Community Theatre, this local production featured some of the best talent in the Henderson and Tri-state area.
Helping to navigate the dangerous waters of musical theatre were Heather McCormick as music director, Deanna Williams Meeks as choreographer, Sharon Burton as assistant director, Steve McCarty as stage manager, and David Laughlin as technical director.
