William Inge’s classic play Bus Stop

On November 4 and 5, 2005, Henderson Community Theatre presented its fall presentation, William Inge’s Bus Stop, at the Henderson Fine Arts Center. Set in a 1950’s Kansas diner, this classic play which looks at the romantic relationships of its eight characters featured
- Lara Culiver as Grace Hoyland, the owner of the diner
- Victoria Hamilton as Elma Duckworth, Grace’s teenaged employee, eager to experience the world
- Rachael Eckels as Cherie, a young chanteuse kidnapped by Bo
- Alex Nantz as Bo Decker, a hotheaded young cowboy who is new at all this love stuff
- Dale Vanover as Virgil Blessing, a ranch hand who has been like a father to Bo
- Frank Furbush as Dr. Gerald Lyman, a former college professor who knows literature—and likes women
- Matt Stinson as Carl, the driver of the bus, attracted to Grace
- Steve McCarty as Will Masters, the sheriff
