Adult Education

The oldest full time adult education program at a community college in the Commonwealth of Kentucky

Our mission is to help adults learn to read, write, and speak in English and to compute and solve problems at the level each individual needs to function on the job, in college, and in society.

Our vision is to facilitate learning so that all adult students will learn to their capabilities and the necessary skills to be effective family members, citizens, and workers.

We offer free of charge to the citizens of Henderson County:

  • GED preparation and Pre-GED testing
  • Resources for improving basic employment skills-reading, writing, and mathematics 
  • Skill assessment
  • TABE testing and remediation
  • English as a Second Language Accelerating Opportunity Kentucky--Education and training on the fast track
  • WorkKeys Preparation/Remediation
  • COMPASS and College Preparation
  • Academic Skills
  • GED preparation and Pre-GED testing

Monday, Wednesday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday, Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Closed on Fridays

Testing Times: (Bring Photo ID)

Monday: 8:30am - 4:30pm
Tuesday: 1:00pm - 7:30pm
Wednesday: 1:00pm - 4:30pm
Thursday: 2:00pm - 7:30pm
