Yes, just be sure to complete the separate applications and remember that each program has different requirements and that you will have to apply to both Henderson Community College and West Kentucky Community and Technical College. All hygiene applications must be mailed to Henderson Community College and all assisting applications must be mailed to West Kentucky Community and Technical College.
Score as many points as you can in each of the selective admission point categories. If you have taken general education courses included in the program curriculum and did not make an A or B - you may consider retaking them to get a higher grade. If your ACT score is at the lower end of the point spread, you may consider retaking it to get a higher score. Enroll in general education courses that are included in the the dental hygiene curriculum.
If you are accepted to the program you will receive an acceptance letter around or before mid April.
Yes, however, you will not receive points in the Cumulative GPA or Curriculum GPA if you do not have at least 12 or more college credit hours. Developmental course work does not count toward the required 12 or more college credit hours.
Yes, however, you will not receive points in the categories where you do not meet the minimum score or GPA.
No, you do not have to repeat general education courses already taken. If you received a grade of "D" or lower in the science courses in the curriculum, you would have to retake them if you were accepted. Those science courses include BIO 137, BIO 139, and BIO 225.
