Part-Time Faculty Vacancies
Henderson Community College is seeking applicants for part-time faculty positions in the following areas: art, anatomy and physiology, biology, chemistry, college algebra, developmental math, developmental writing, English, foreign language, history, information technology, music, nursing, political science, and Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education (IECE). Teaching assignments will be at on-campus and off-campus locations in Henderson and Union Counties and on-line.
Positions in art, anatomy and physiology, biology, chemistry, college algebra, English, foreign language, history, information technology, music, and political science require a Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or a master’s degree that includes at least 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline.
Positions in developmental math and developmental writing require a Bachelor’s degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline or education.
The nursing position requires a Bachelor’s degree in nursing. A master’s degree in nursing is preferred.
The IECE requires a master's degree in early childhood education or a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in early childhood education.
Previous teaching experience is preferred for all positions.
