Student fee refunds for eligible students are mailed to the student's home address by KCTCS approximately four to six weeks after classes are dropped. Refunds are automatically processed for eligible students.
FACTS Payment Plan fees and KET fees are non-refundable.
Student Financial Aid Checks are mailed directly to the student's home address by KCTCS. This occurs approximately 2 to 4 weeks after the last day of Drop/Add for the semester. Tuition and book costs are deducted prior to mailing.
Students: be sure and update your mailing address in the Admissions Office in order to receive a timely refund. KCTCS checks are not forwarded by the postal service.
A special refund schedule applies to student’s receiving Title IV (Pell Grants, SEOG and Student Loans) who officially withdraw or stop attending class. For information, please contact the Financail Aid Office at (270) 831-9628.
