2008 Kentucky National Wildlife Art Exhibit - SEPT
Presented by the Ohio Valley Art League and the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources
Henderson, Ky., home of John James Audubon will again host the eighth biennial Kentucky National Wildlife Art Exhibit. John James Audubon lived and painted in Henderson from 1810 to 1819, it is here that he set the course toward painting every bird in North America. The purpose of the exhibit is to increase awareness for the preservation of wildlife and to recognize artists who derive inspiration and imagery from the wildlife and environment. The exhibit further encourages the collection of original works of art.
