| Admission
Enrollment in the program is limited and based on space within the college and community.
How to Apply
To be considered for admission to the Clinical Laboratory Technician Program, each applicant must submit the following:
- Application to HCC
- High school transcript or G.E.D. scores.
- ACT or CPP scores
- Transcripts or previous college education.
In addition, each applicant must attend a Clinical Laboratory Technician Program advising conference with the CLT Coordinator. Check with the program coordinator for conference dates and times.
Preference may be given by the Admissions Committee to those applicants who complete the admissions process as outline above by March 1.
Preference may also be given to applicants with the following credentials:
- Applicants with an ACT enhanced composite standard score of 19 or above of the equivalent on the CPP.
- Applicants who rank in the upper half of their graduating class or have an average score of 50 or above on the G.E.D.
- Applicants with a background in algebra and chemistry.
- Applicants who submit evidence of successful completion of the developmental course work and/or those who have accumulative GPA of 2.5 or better in 12 or more credit hours of college work including at least one science course.
