Q: Does acceptance to Henderson Community College guarantee admission to the program?
A: No. There are a limited number of positions available in the program, so admission is on a selective and competitive basis.
Q: Does taking required general education courses prior to admission to the program guarantee admission the Dental Hygiene Program?
A. No.
Q. If I have earned college credit, do I still need to submit a high school transcript?
A. Yes.
Q. What are the grade requirements if admitted to the Dental Hygiene Program?
A. You must achieve a “C” or better in each Dental Hygiene course in order to proceed onto the next course in the two-year program.
Q. Does the college find a job for me upon graduation?
A. No, however job opportunities are solicited and listed.
Q. May I take the program as a part-time student?
A. No. The Dental Hygiene program is a two-year program and classes are offered only in the daytime.
