You need a class to graduate and it's closed on campus. It's not too late, you can take the class online.

CALENDAR
Students enrolled in distance learning courses for the Spring 2008 semester are subject to the KYVC Academic Calendar. IT IS NOT THE SAME AS THE CALENDAR AT YOUR CAMPUS!
TEXTBOOKS
Barnes and Nobles operates our bookstores and you can purchase your text on the bookstore website. You can also purchase texts through other bookstores such as Amazon.com, Books-A-Million or eCampus.com.
STUDENT EMAIL
It is extremely important that you check your student email account regularly since it is how the college will communicate with you.
What courses are offered?
- To view a list of all online courses: scroll down and click on "View all Courses"
- To view a list of all online courses in a specific subject area: Scroll down to the heading KYVU Online Courses, select subject area from the drop down menu View Courses by Subject; click GO
Note: You are not officially enrolled in any KYVC class until Henderson Community College receives this request from KYVC and determines if there is an available opening in the class and if you have met any course prerequisites. After this process is completed, you will receive notification (via e-mail or regular mail) regarding your enrollment status.
How do I register for an online class?
- Go to the KYVC website: www.kyvc.org -- click "Request Enrollment!"
- If you have previously been enrolled in an online or web-enhanced class, login using your KYVU name/password.
- Contact Jenny Page at 831-9684 (if you forgot your password).
- If you are new learner on KYVU, click the "New Learner Course Request Form."
How do I log into my class?
- Go to the KYVC webpage: www.kyvc.org
- On the right hand side is the login box
- In the space provided for “UserName”, type your name using this format: first initial of first name, entire last name, last four digits of your Social Security Number (ex: jsmith1234)
- In the space provided for “Password” type the last four digits of your Social Security Number (Ex: 1234). Note; the first time you log in, you’ll be asked to change your password before proceeding. If you are a returning student to KYVU and cannot remember your password, you may contact Jenny Page at 831-9684.
- Click the link to the course or class you want to work on.
You will find:
- A syllabus
- An e-mail system
- All assignments with start and due dates
- A grade book for scores on your graded assignments
