The public is invited to attend a free workshop “How to Find and Apply for Scholarships” on Thursday, April 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. The workshop will be held in the Student Center (SCR) on the Henderson Community College campus. The workshop presenter is Andy Conrad representative from the University of Phoenix. The workshop will help participants understand the world of scholarships and how they can find scholarships, apply for scholarships, and position themselves to become great scholarship candidates. The workshop will emphasize a four step process whereby participants will learn to use their valuable time wisely and hone in on the scholarships that are the best match for them.
