Adult Education

The oldest full time adult education program at a community college in the Commonwealth of Kentucky

Our mission is to help adults learn to read, write, and speak in English and to compute and solve problems at the level each individual needs to function on the job, in college, and in society.

Our vision is to facilitate learning so that all adult students will learn to their capabilities and the necessary skills to be effective family members, citizens, and workers.

We offer free of charge to the citizens of Henderson County:

  • Resources for improving basic employment skills-reading, writing, and mathematics
  • Skill assessment
  • TABE testing and remediation
  • English as a Second Language Accelerating Opportunity Kentucky--Education and training on the fast track
