Adult Education

The oldest full time adult education program at a community college in the Commonwealth of Kentucky

Our mission is to help adults learn to read, write and speak in English, and to compute and solve problems at the level each individual needs to function on the job and in society.

Our vision is to facilitate learning so that all adult students will learn to their capabilities the necessary skills to be effective family members, citizens and workers.


We offer free of charge to the citizens of Henderson County:

• GED preparation and Pre-GED testing
• One-on-one literacy instruction
• Resources for improving basic employment skills-reading, writing, and mathematics 
• Skill assessment
• TABE testing and remediation
• English as a Second Language
• WorkKeys Preparation/Remediation
• COMPASS and College Preparation
• Academic Skills
