Henderson Community College (HCC) is one of 16 two-year colleges in the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS).
Founded in 1960 as the University of Kentucky Northwest Center and accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), our goal is to prepare students for successful transfer to Kentucky four-year colleges or for immediate entrance into fulfilling careers.
As a part of KCTCS, Henderson Community College provides citizens of the tri-county area and beyond with life-long learning experiences and cultural programs by offering:
An HCC education is an especially good value. Tuition costs are very affordable, especially for residents of Kentucky, and we offer a range of scholarships, grants and loans. A college education is an excellent investment in your future. A degree or certificate from HCC will pay off throughout your career—in higher salary, better professional opportunities, and personal satisfaction.
As a "Learning College" it is our goal to ask ourselves how everything we do affects learning. We ask ourselves the question, "Are our students learning?" and, more importantly, "How do we know?". It is the answers to these questions that guide us in our decision making process. At HCC, you will be challenged to work hard as you take advantage of the opportunity to be a part of the learning process that is facilitated by the caring and experienced faculty and staff. Students quickly discover "The Hill" is a welcoming place where they know many of their classmates and instructors by name. We care about you and your needs and strive to assist you on your path to lifelong learning in any way we can
Henderson Community College awards associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates in 16 areas of study, including Nursing, Agricultural Technology, Business Administration, Early Childhood Education, Information Technology and More!
We're proud to offer classes at three separate locations, two in Henderson and one in Morganfield, Kentucky.
